The top rock and blues guitarist of the last 40 years will be performing live at Trent FM Arena Nottingham on Monday 23rd June 2008.
Eric Clapton will be coming to our venue in June after going down a storm here back in 2006.
With classic songs like ‘Wonderful Tonight’ and ‘Tears in Heaven’, Clapton is the only person ever to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times – covering his time in the Yardbirds and Cream and his highly successful solo career.
He is one of the most successful musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries and is often viewed as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. He was ranked fourth in Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”
